Delightful news, everyone! Yes that means everyone, Humans, Alternians and even that one lonesome Derse. I was returned my scrapbook of visual paradox space events. Do any of you wish to see pictures from back home by any chance? I have plenty to share in this quite large book and all of you are in it!

Humans, or any creature from any sort of Earth planet, please lend me your ears. What precisely do you all engage in during this season of summer? The dominate planet containing life in my dimension never really had such a scorching hot season. If it did it was a time of fear and danger, as the dominate species is quite nocturnal and sleep during the daytime. Color me curious for answers.

Summer usually means outdoor activities. The generic ones are organized sports, like baseball or golf, and casual sports such as horseshoes or Frisbee. Due to the children being out of school, it was a time popular for vacations, which isn't really an option here. Then there's camping, hiking and cycling as alternative activities.

At home I also attended concerts and plays given in the park, and the cultural heritage festivals towards the end of summer. Of course, at home the summer heat lasts until the beginning of October.

Until October? I read in a book once that summer lasted on Earth until the beginning of September. Well, I do suppose all Earths could be different in the realms of paradox space and different dimensions and all those silly time shenanigans. The concept of summer being a time for children out of school does make sense, although there never really was a proper educational system on Alternia.

Swimming. Festivals. Insect catching. Part time jobs. Stargazing. Sports. Fireworks. Fishing. Tests of courage. Movies. Karaoke. Bird watching. Goldfish scooping.

[Having lived through this over 15,000 times, summer vacation was not her favorite time of the year.]

My, do humans really do all of that during the summer? It seems like so much to get done in the span of three months. Have you engaged in all those activities yourself?

I am currently human, but I do not actually have a 'species' by any means. [He is a ecto-clone made from strands of genetic coding and given the only other First Guardian he knows of is a dog...well that says a lot about his "species"] I think your answer would be very helpful however! Swimming helps a lot with the hot weather. In my home country the beaches were packed from June to September.

Swimming, you say. I never really swam myself. ...Though I have a very good idea that human bodies are capable of floating in water.

Really now? Humans seem to enjoy this season a lot from what you say. Is the whole section, of the months summer takes place in, accompanied by these activities? I don't think I ever heard of barbeque.
