Delightful news, everyone! Yes that means everyone, Humans, Alternians and even that one lonesome Derse. I was returned my scrapbook of visual paradox space events. Do any of you wish to see pictures from back home by any chance? I have plenty to share in this quite large book and all of you are in it!

Humans, or any creature from any sort of Earth planet, please lend me your ears. What precisely do you all engage in during this season of summer? The dominate planet containing life in my dimension never really had such a scorching hot season. If it did it was a time of fear and danger, as the dominate species is quite nocturnal and sleep during the daytime. Color me curious for answers.

Summer's pretty awesome. Ya got pools, beaches, sports, picnics, fireworks, barbeque, all kindsa awesome stuff.

Really now? Humans seem to enjoy this season a lot from what you say. Is the whole section, of the months summer takes place in, accompanied by these activities? I don't think I ever heard of barbeque.

Hell yeah. I mean, cold weather's good too, but after awhile all the snow gets ta be a pain in the ass.

Some sports are played at other times 'a the year, I guess. Baseball runs spring to fall. Football starts at the end of the summer. Basketball... I don't even know cuz I don't really give a crap about basketball. An' it ain't like ya can go swimmin' outdoors in the winter either. What, don't they got weather where you're from?

I could say the same about warm weather.

We have weather, just different weather. Dim seasons and Dark seasons. There isn't really any sort of 'summer' time, when the entire race is nocturnal for the most part.

It kinda sucks when it gets too hot, but I still like it better than too much cold.

"Dim" and "Dark"? Sounds almost like tha same thing.

Well no. Dim is when there is some light, but not a lot at all. Dark is when it is...well dark. As I said, the planet Alternia does not really have a summer season. Dim seasons are when the most light comes.

Sounds kinda shitty, pally. Then again, I come from a place kinda like this one, so sunlight I'm used ta. Hard ta get shit done if it was dark all the time.

It helps when the dominate species of life on your planet is nocturnal and can see better in dark than in the light of the blistering suns.
