Fifth Dark Hole [Phones]

[Phone; Filtered to the Homestuck cast (yes he knows who you all are)]

Delightful news, everyone! Yes that means everyone, Humans, Alternians and even that one lonesome Derse. I was returned my scrapbook of visual paradox space events. Do any of you wish to see pictures from back home by any chance? I have plenty to share in this quite large book and all of you are in it!

[Phone; Open]

Humans, or any creature from any sort of Earth planet, please lend me your ears. What precisely do you all engage in during this season of summer? The dominate planet containing life in my dimension never really had such a scorching hot season. If it did it was a time of fear and danger, as the dominate species is quite nocturnal and sleep during the daytime. Color me curious for answers.

Hmm... things like swimming and going to the beach- ah, but we do not have such a thing in Mayfield... well. there's summer festivals, as well- ah, but these are my own, rather than America-san's, so they will not have such a thing here either...

...I see this is going nowhere quickly, so let us divert the topic for a moment. What would you do during the summer season.

Work.

Though I'd take breaks during the festivals and celebrate them, of course... but there is nothing I would do that I wouldn't do during the other seasons especially.

A working man you are. Your logic is sound. Summer should not mean that everyone gets to loaf off. It would be quite dreadful if we all stopped being productive, just because this thermometer on my wall rises up.

That's precisely it! Ah... that, and work is my hobby.

It is mine as well. I am merely incapable of doing it here, for the time being.

Ah, is that so? How unfortunate. You have my sympathy... what sort of work was it, if it's alright of me to ask?

Being a facilitator for an entire alien race and their universe. Mostly just their home planet.

... That's a very interesting job... it sound a little difficult, however.

Not completely. Most of my job is already done for me, but there are few matters of importance I take care of. All of which are on a 'you don't need to know' basis, naturally.

How complicated and vague... ah, but I won't ask for elaboration, since I do not need to know.

Good, you're not nosy and know your place. Very good passive trait for someone to have.

I do my best. It's the sort of trait I wish more people would have myself, after all...

Quite a shame. If more people didn't stick their noses into things that don't concern them, life would be so much simpler. Alas, not everyone can be like you good sir.
