Fifth Dark Hole [Phones]

[Phone; Filtered to the Homestuck cast (yes he knows who you all are)]

Delightful news, everyone! Yes that means everyone, Humans, Alternians and even that one lonesome Derse. I was returned my scrapbook of visual paradox space events. Do any of you wish to see pictures from back home by any chance? I have plenty to share in this quite large book and all of you are in it!

[Phone; Open]

Humans, or any creature from any sort of Earth planet, please lend me your ears. What precisely do you all engage in during this season of summer? The dominate planet containing life in my dimension never really had such a scorching hot season. If it did it was a time of fear and danger, as the dominate species is quite nocturnal and sleep during the daytime. Color me curious for answers.

[He doesn't mind the monotone speaking at all and makes a small 'aha' sound at the end of it all.]

My, do humans really do all of that during the summer? It seems like so much to get done in the span of three months. Have you engaged in all those activities yourself?

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-02 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
Multiple times.

...It requires only two weeks.

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-02 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Two weeks? I assume you experienced all those activities then and could properly estimate the time. A lot shorter than I would have expected myself.

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-03 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
Provided time for relaxation between activities is not overly long.

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-03 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds exhausting. If I was capable of feeling sympathy, I would direct it toward you.

[Except that as a human is capable of sympathy - he just doesn't want to admit that.]

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-04 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
[If Yuki were capable of detecting sympathy, she would accept it. As it is, she simply blinks for a moment or two.]

You are unused to human emotion?

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-04 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Well I am unused to being human, period.

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-05 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
What is your natural species?

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-05 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
Not quite sure you can call it a species, it's more like an existential existence, but I am a First Guardian. Better way to put it is a facilitator of a universe.

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-05 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
...

Comparable to what would be termed as 'gods' in other worlds?

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-05 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my, no. I am certainly no God by any means. See, even the Earth I know of has a First Guardian. And it's a dog!

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-06 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Comprehension remains lacking. I request a more thorough definition of the role that is played by a 'First Guardian'

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
It's rather complicated. A First Guardian's duty is to facilitate, or rather observe, the universe and the main dominating planet of life. More than that, we make sure the dominate species of life in the universe fulfills the Ultimate Purpose. When this is to happen is never known to us - the dominate species normally sets the events in motion and we nudge them when need be.

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
What is the 'Ultimate Purpose'?

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
You like to make many inquiries, don't you young lady?

The Ultimate Purpose is to creating new universes.

[And destroy the old ones in the process. Not that anyone ever really knows that.]

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
[She will ignore the commentary.]

Then, your purpose is to guide sentient species to a state in which they are advanced enough to initiate the creation of new worlds. Is that correct?

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Not simply new worlds, but entirely new universes. They exist in different dimensions completely. But yes, that is correct. 90% correct, but still good.

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
[Yuki will take a moment to file this carefully away in her databanks before resuming the conversation. It was interesting, the parallels to the role of the Integrated Data Sentient Entity.]

You have always existed? First Guardians come into existence with the creation of a new universe? What is your role in universes in which intelligence fails to develop? Or those in which intelligence manifests in non-organic life?

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
First Guardians are created through paradox space, when the universe becomes capable of giving birth to us. Then, through that same paradox space, we are truly "born" at the creation of the universe and the dominate species. I can't tell you much else, because that is not in the realms of my understanding. Even my omniscience does not extend so far, as to understand each part of my existence. I only know what I must know.

This is not meant to make sense, just to warn you.

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
...Understood.

At the moment of a universe's creation, the generalized amalgamation of non-independent space must be distributed in a linear manner, logically resulting in the individualization of an asynchronous space in which the creation of new data becomes possible. This restricted occurrence, provided that the transformation of the non-independent state is juxtaposed with that of transitory conditionals, may result in the spontaneous formation of Intelligence when localization of data transfer occurs. The creation of my own species has been theorized in such a manner; the 'First Guardians' appear to be a parallel life form, in a loose definition of 'life'.

[Yuki seems satisfied. Although Scratch may not be.]

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes that is about a good condensed version of it all. I'm supposing you're a lifeform that is distinct from human yourself, if you can understand all of this so simply.

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
So what purpose does your existence have?

[identity profile] bogusmagicker.livejournal.com 2011-08-10 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
...Consider my purpose the same as your own for a select few individuals.

sob i forgot this is a phone convo /headsmack

[identity profile] cueballer.livejournal.com 2011-08-10 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Understood. So do you assimilate yourself with humans or observe them from afar, like myself?
