Delightful news, everyone! Yes that means everyone, Humans, Alternians and even that one lonesome Derse. I was returned my scrapbook of visual paradox space events. Do any of you wish to see pictures from back home by any chance? I have plenty to share in this quite large book and all of you are in it!

Humans, or any creature from any sort of Earth planet, please lend me your ears. What precisely do you all engage in during this season of summer? The dominate planet containing life in my dimension never really had such a scorching hot season. If it did it was a time of fear and danger, as the dominate species is quite nocturnal and sleep during the daytime. Color me curious for answers.

Summer usually means outdoor activities. The generic ones are organized sports, like baseball or golf, and casual sports such as horseshoes or Frisbee. Due to the children being out of school, it was a time popular for vacations, which isn't really an option here. Then there's camping, hiking and cycling as alternative activities.

At home I also attended concerts and plays given in the park, and the cultural heritage festivals towards the end of summer. Of course, at home the summer heat lasts until the beginning of October.

Until October? I read in a book once that summer lasted on Earth until the beginning of September. Well, I do suppose all Earths could be different in the realms of paradox space and different dimensions and all those silly time shenanigans. The concept of summer being a time for children out of school does make sense, although there never really was a proper educational system on Alternia.

In the case of my hometown, it's because of the geography. The closer to the equator, the warmer the weather year-round. A joke from home goes, "We've got four seasons: Nearly Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas." That's a bit extreme, because autumn does have a lot of the hallmarks of the season that more temperate areas have. We also have a couple of months of cold and wet weather that we call "winter", but makes people who live further north laugh.

Climate change due to geographical location sounds logical. Alternia has dim seasons and dark seasons, and multiple other seasons within those two categories. Of course one solar sweep on the planet is roughly the equivalent of two Earth years, so it makes sense that we have more.

Astronomical years that are longer or shorter depending on place of origin, that would explain the ages I've heard from some people here.

It most certainly would. However, my knowledge of other dimensions only extends to my own and to a universe with an Earth located within it. Any other dimensions are none of my concern.

And from what I've seen, it might not be the same Earth as the one I'm from. I think I might have found people from about six different "Earth" backgrounds. Similar, but most have at least one significant point of difference, some have several.

That's the charm of paradox space really. All planet Earths could be significantly different, if only sometimes by the choice of someone of great importance going left instead of right.

From my understanding of chaos mathematics, it could be something as insignificant as the movement of a butterfly's wing.

Sports, hm. Activities Earthlings partake in during these summer seasons I suppose. I saw some drones playing with wooden sticks and balls the other day when I think about it.
